What Happens After You Apply?

Becoming an LA involves several steps. Completing the Student LA Application is the first step and does not guarantee an LA position.

Complete the Student LA Application during the appropriate application period above.

The LA Program works to match potential LAs with available courses and faculty. Faculty may contact potential LAs for an interview before confirming a match.

Once a match is confirmed, you will receive instructions by email for completing the required Ä¢¹½TV employment application.

Complete all required hiring steps through Ä¢¹½TV Human Resources (HR). All hiring requirements must be completed before beginning work as an LA.

Confirm your enrollment in the appropriate LA Pedagogy course for the semester.

First-time LAs are required to attend LA Orientation before beginning their LA role.
