Danley, Ashley (Ph.D., PE)

Dr. Ashley Danley joined Ä¢¹½TV as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in August of 2015. Dr. Danley is a Professor and Professional Engineer in the Department of Bioengineering, Civil Engineering, and Environmental Engineering at Ä¢¹½TV.

Dr. Danley has water and wastewater experience in Haiti as well as Vietnam, where she lived for a year during her Ph.D. work. From 2022 - 2024, Dr. Danley lived in Washington, D.C. serving as a Climate and Peacekeeping Advisor for the U.S. Department of State as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science where she worked with the United Nations and traveled to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, Ghana and Belgium to advise on improved environmental management. Prior to her appointment at Ä¢¹½TV, Dr. Danley was a consulting engineer for municipal water and wastewater projects in Southwest Florida.
