
Denny, Brian
Brian Denny is an Assistant Professor of Digital Media Design at Florida Gulf Coast University’s Bower School of Music & the Arts. Before entering academia, he spent more than a decade working in post-production in New York City and Los Angeles, with experience spanning feature films, short films, documentaries, commercials, and music videos.
As a film editor, Denny’s work has screened at leading film festivals, including Tribeca, Telluride, AFI FEST, Raindance, and Austin. His credits include Paris Song, Useless Humans, The Exit Room, Tobacco Burn, and Pet Rituals. He also served as an editorial consultant on the documentary Tiger 24, with work distributed on platforms including Netflix and Showtime.
Denny earned his MFA from the American Film Institute Conservatory and his BFA from the School of Visual Arts. At Ä¢¹½TV, he developed courses in Film & Video Editing and Motion Design. His teaching and creative work focus on filmmaking, design, visual storytelling, and emerging technologies.
