
Tenrreiro, Kathleen (PhD, MSN, BSN)
Dr. Kathleen Tenrreiro is an assistant professor in nursing. Her nursing education spans over two decades, earning a BSN from the University of Rhode Island, an MSN in Nursing Education, a post-graduate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the University of South Florida, and a PhD in Nursing Education from Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Tenrreiro has over twenty-five years of nursing experience in a variety of clinical settings, including pediatrics, labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery. She has worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care and nephrology. She has over fifteen years of nursing education experience in associate, baccalaureate, and graduate nursing, focusing on pediatric and maternal-child nursing, health assessment, pharmacology, and evidence-based practice.
