N.R. Mabry is a scenic and projection designer, educator, and theatre artist whose work investigates how space, image, texture, and technology shape theatrical storytelling. Their designs move between historical research, contemporary visual culture, and immersive worldbuilding, with a focus on creating environments that support actors, clarify narrative, and invite audience imagination.

Their professional credits include Gulfshore Playhouse, Pittsburgh CLO, Dallas Theater Center, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Stage West, TheatreSquared, New Hazlett Theater, and the Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival. Their work has been recognized nationally by the American College Theater Festival, including awards for Outstanding Projection Design and Outstanding Scenic Design. They have also received the Bill and Jean Eckhart Award for Excellence in Stage Design and the Taubman Scholarship for Excellence in Stage Design.
