
Rodriguez, Raiza
Raiza Rodriguez, MPAS, PA-C, is an Assistant Professor at the Ä¢¹½TV
Physician Assistant Program. She is an innovative PA educator and clinical practitioner
committed to preparing the next generation of competent, highly skilled Physician
Associates/Physician Assistants through comprehensive, interdisciplinary, collaborative,
and evidence-based training. With over 20 years of clinical experience as an NCCPA
Certified Physician Associate/Physician Assistant and over 6 years of experience in
higher education, she brings extensive real-world knowledge to the classroom and her
students.
Raiza earned both a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, minor in chemistry, and a
Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida. Her clinical
background is in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Hematology/Oncology. She
is a dedicated PA student mentor and serves on several professional committees that
support student and faculty/staff needs. She is also a member of FAPA and AAPA. Outside
of teaching and clinical practice, she enjoys photography and cooking for her friends
and family.
