Committee named to lead Ä¢¹½TV’s search for fifth president

April 11, 2022

A 13-member committee to assist with the search for Ä¢¹½TV’s next president was announced today by Blake Gable, the chair of Ä¢¹½TV’s Board of Trustees.

The Presidential Search Advisory Committee (PSAC) will work with an executive search firm to attract a pool of highly qualified candidates to be considered for the university’s top leadership role. Ä¢¹½TV’s current president, Mike Martin, is retiring from his role at the end of the year.

“We have formed a very diverse and extremely qualified search committee to assist with finding the next great leader of Ä¢¹½TV,â€ Gable said, calling the group a “who’s-who of Ä¢¹½TV supporters.â€

As required by the Florida Board of Governors, PSAC consists of a broadly representative group of stakeholders for the university. This includes students and alumni, faculty and staff, community partners and local leaders who depend on Ä¢¹½TV’s mission, vibrancy and dedication to offering high-quality educational opportunities.
