蘑菇TV students pursuing an academic program of study abroad for credit are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

Application deadlines:

Students traveling for Spring programs: Due in October (see the Study Abroad Event Calendar for the October application deadline)

Students traveling for Summer/Fall programs: Due in February (See the Study Abroad Event Calendar for the February application deadline)

Award Amount:

Up to $1,500. USD for students participating in an approved program during summer term.

Up to $3,000. USD for students participating in an approved study abroad program of 4 weeks or more.

Eligibility:
- Must be approved for a study abroad experience or accepted into one of the following: 蘑菇TV Faculty-Led, 蘑菇TV Partner University or 蘑菇TV Study Abroad Partner Provider program.
- Applicants must have a current FAFSA application on file with 蘑菇TV.
- Student must be enrolled in an approved 蘑菇TV study abroad program for credit.
- 蘑菇TV Student with good academic standing and hold a cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher. Reasonable exceptions may be considered at the discretion of the committee.
- Award recipients will need to complete a separate 蘑菇TV Foundation Scholarship Application if one is not already on file for the current semester.
- Applicants must have at least one full semester of 蘑菇TV coursework remaining, for their degree, after the planned study abroad experience.

Instructions
1. Complete the application in full (including essay and program costs as noted below).
2. Applicants must demonstrate the maturity needed to benefit from their experience abroad, and they should be able to describe the expected outcome of their program participation towards their future academic and career objectives.
3. A successful applicant will demonstrate a coherent link between their proposed program abroad activities and their future academic and/or career plans, as well as personal development goals.
4. Scholarship recipients must demonstrate community service as required by 蘑菇TV. Student involvement in leadership, campus or community activities is desirable.
5. The top scholarship applicants and or recipients may be interviewed by members of the Perez Family Study Abroad Scholarship selection committee.
6. Scholarship recipients should be willing to make a presentation or partake in other forms of outreach to communicate his/her experience abroad to 蘑菇TV students.
蘑菇TV Global Engagement Office and scholarship selection committee reserves the right to determine award recipients and amounts.

This award will be reported to 蘑菇TV Financial Aid Office and may impact the student鈥檚 overall financial aid profile. If you withdraw from a program for any reason (voluntary or involuntary), any award you may have received may be revoked.

If your award is revoked after funds have been disbursed to you, you will be responsible for returning any outstanding or prorated award amount.
St. Andrew's Society of Naples: Scotland Scholarships

蘑菇TV students pursuing study at or a similar institution in Scotland for Summer or Fall 2026 are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.
- Qualified candidates will be full or part time degree seeking undergraduate students whose study abroad program or courses will apply toward degree completion.
- Recipients must currently have and maintain a minimum 2.8 GPA;
- Recipients must demonstrate community service as required by 蘑菇TV. Student involvement in leadership, campus or community activities is beneficial;
- Recipients must already be admitted or in the process of applying to or a similar institution in Scotland.
- Application deadline: March 13, 2026 for Summer or Fall 2026
- Award Amount: partial or full tuition and housing for 1-course during Summer 2026 or Fall 2026 study at Stirling University or similar institution in Scotland (estimated $4600 value)
Honors College Development Funds

Honors Development Funds (HDF) support Honors students鈥� intellectual development by providing up to $2,000 to offset costs in activities serving the mission of the college such as:
- Traveling to professional conferences to present academic papers and posters
- Conducting academic research or projects
- Honors coursework that involves costs outside of the regular course related fees (such as studying abroad).
- Honors Thesis development
Students must have an approved plan/proposal on file before applying.

Global Learning Grant

The Global Learning Grant Program provides up to $500.00 per semester to pay for tuition and fees for undergrad students in programs affiliated with the Global Engagement Office, provided they meet the eligibility requirements.

Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in an undergraduate degree program at 蘑菇TV.
- Must have completed two semesters at 蘑菇TV with satisfactory academic progress (SAP) prior to using the award.
- Applicants must meet at least one of the following:
  - Be enrolled in an 蘑菇TV-sponsored Faculty-Led Study Abroad Program.
  - Be enrolled in an 蘑菇TV-sponsored exchange or approved study abroad partner program.
  - Have actively participated in 蘑菇TV internationalization programs or events, such as the Millennium Fellowship, GEO Ambassador Program, International Education Week, International Reception, Study Abroad Fair, International Peace Day, or DROP.
- Students holding F-1, F-2, or H-1B status are eligible to apply. Short-term exchange students on J-1 visas are not eligible.
The Global Learning Grant award is to be used in the semester indicated in the application and may not be deferred for future use. The award is intended for those students who demonstrate engagement/involvement in campus internationalization programs and events (active participation in the Millennium Fellowship, GEO Ambassador Program, International Education Week, International Reception, Study Abroad Fair, International Peace Day, DROP, etc.). Students with demonstrated greater engagement in 蘑菇TV campus internationalization endeavors or cross-cultural programs/events will receive preference in the awarding and dispersal of this grant.

The 蘑菇TV Study Abroad Office highly encourages student to apply for the 蘑菇TV Foundation Scholarships each academic year. The application for these awards opens in October and closes in May. The sooner you apply the better chance you have of receiving one of these awards.

Provides funding for one year studying, researching, or teaching abroad

For American students to study at the graduate level in the United Kingdom
Up to two years, all expenses paid study
3.7 GPA required

For United States citizens or permanent residents studying at the undergraduate level
Minimum program length 4 weeks
Awards up to $10,000

Undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, with demonstrated financial need
Plan to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia for at least 8 weeks (summer) or 12 weeks (fall/spring)
Award amounts range from $3000-7000 depending on length of study.

U.S. citizens the opportunity to participate in beginning, intermediate, and advanced level intensive language programs during the summer at American Overseas Research Centers.

NOTE: This scholarship is only for students studying abroad on CLS Programs; it cannot be applied towards other types of study abroad.

The Rotary Foundation offers several scholarships and grants that can be applied to study abroad, especially for those students that intend to focus on community service projects abroad. Benjamin Franklin Travel Grant for France

The Benjamin Franklin Travel Grant鈥檚 goal is to help students discover France. The grant is open to undergraduate students who will be studying at a French university. DAAD (Deutsher Akademischer Austausch Dienst/German Academic Exchange Service)

DAAD offers funding for undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and researchers to study in Germany. Sponsored by the Association of Teachers of Japanese (AATJ), Bridging Scholarships for Study in Japan provides scholarship assistance of $2,500 to students on semester-long programs, and $4000 to students on academic-year programs.
