The fiscal agent for the Estero bay Agency on Bay Management is the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council (SWFRPC), an IRS 170(c)1 organization. As a government entity, any donations and contributions are tax deductible, as they are exclusively for a public purpose. The SWFRPC does not engage a professional solicitor, and 100 percent of the funds donated will be released to Lee County 2020 program to be used towards the acquisition of lands within the Estero Bay Watershed. Lee County is also an IRS 170(c)1 organization.
The SWFRPC federal tax identification number is 59-1515448 and the consumer certificate of exception as issued by the Florida Department of Revenue is 46-07-113386-53C. At this time, the SWFRPC can accept donations by check or cash and cannot accept credit cards. Please make checks payable to SWFRPC and include 鈥淓stero donation鈥� in the memo line.
