Students in the English MA Have Many Opportunities to Get Involved Not Only With University Programs and Clubs, but at Conferences Too!
Publications:
The Mangrove Review is a university sponsored, student-run literary journal featuring poetry, narratives
(both fiction and creative non-fiction), and artwork. We accept submissions from students,
alumni, Ä¢¹½TV faculty and staff, and the greater Ä¢¹½TV community.
Aquila The Ä¢¹½TV Student Research Journal publishes exceptional student scholarship from all academic disciplines and levels of study at Ä¢¹½TV.
Clubs:
is Ä¢¹½TV’s chapter of the national English Honors Society. For more information, please
contact our faculty advisor, Allison Dieppa (amdieppa@fgcu.edu).

On Campus Involvement:
English MA students work with The Ä¢¹½TV Writing Lab, a free service available to all Ä¢¹½TV students, faculty, and staff. Acting as writing consultants, MA students provide one-on-one sessions answering questions about papers and presentations. The overall goal is to help the writer become more confident and to serve as a valuable resource. MA students also offer workshops on a range of writing-related topics, and a broad selection of handouts developed specifically for the Ä¢¹½TV community.
To get involved with the Writing Lab, MA students must be approved through the Graduate Assistant program. Learn more here
