蘑菇TV

Eagles Educate is a club primarily (but not limited to ) education majors. The club meets monthly to share educational topics, have special speakers, learn teaching new strategies, mentor new members, and announce ways to be involved with service learning. One of our most popular events is the Mini Conference (Date - TBD) where the Florida Teacher of the Year, 蘑菇TV alumni and current students as well as  teachers from Southwest Florida come to 蘑菇TV to be part of a sharing experience of current information in education. Another event is the Real Deal from Beginning Teachers where 蘑菇TV grads come to tell us about getting started with their own classrooms. We also have the Real Deal 蘑菇TV Internship where current 蘑菇TV interns present the lessons they have learned from the experience. We have a banquet in both winter and spring, and active members have the opportunity to travel to conferences and earn the right to wear an Eagles Educate stole at graduation.

Eagles Educate is proud to be part of the FEA, joining over 140,000 teachers across the state of Florida. The goal of one of the largest teachers' unions in America is to be the united voice for excellence in public education in the state of Florida.

Omega Epsilon Chapter is located on 蘑菇TV campus.

Chapter Membership

Membership in the chapter of Kappa Delta Pi depends on the following criteria:

• Intent to continue in the field of education
• Completing a Pre-application is required for membership

At the beginning of each semester, students are recruited for membership. Applications will be available throughout the College of Education and current KDP members will visit classes at the start of each semester to recruit for membership. Students are required to have the following requirements:

• Leadership attributes
• Undergraduates - must have first-term sophomore standing (30 semester hours), a GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or its equivalent), and at least 12 semester hours (or equivalent) in education courses programmed, in progress, or completed.
• Graduate students - must have regular admission status in an accredited institution, six or more semester hours (or its equivalent) in that institution, at least 12 semester hours (or its equivalent) of education courses, and a graduate - level GPA of at least 3.25 out of 4.0.

College of Education Student Ambassadors represent the COE at outreach events such as Eagle Expo, Say Yes to the Nest, Eagle Family Weekend, student engagement programs, and college fairs. Ambassadors also participate in professional development workshops focused on leadership, effective communication, and workplace professionalism. This organization is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your r茅sum茅, build valuable skills, and network with 蘑菇TV faculty and staff.
