Training

This program/activity is necessary to maintain accreditation requirements per APA, CACREP, IACS, and NASW which were in place prior to the effective date of BOG Regulation 9.016, Prohibited Expenditures.

A trainee’s willingness to self-explore and engage in growth while serving a diverse public is an important step in the successful completion of training for any student.  National organizations in the mental health field have made ethical code and accreditation standards that reflect the importance of working with a diverse public. The state of Florida’s Laws and Rules governing eligibility for licensure require adherence to the accreditation standards and code of ethics listed below.
