Dear Colleagues,

We are redesigning Ä¢¹½TV.edu, and your input will help shape what comes next.

From March 19 - April 6, members of the Ä¢¹½TV community are invited to complete a brief, 10-minute online survey that will directly inform the direction of our new site. Your feedback will guide decisions about design, navigation and how we showcase Ä¢¹½TV’s impact, priorities and brand.

The survey will also appear as a pop-up when you visit Ä¢¹½TV.edu. I encourage you to participate and to share the opportunity with your colleagues.

This survey supports a comprehensive initiative now underway to redesign Ä¢¹½TV.edu and implement a new enterprise content management system (CMS). This redesign will reposition Ä¢¹½TV.edu as a strategic, marketing-driven platform that not only provides information but actively advances recruitment, strengthens our reputation and drives engagement. The new site will deliver a modern, user-centered experience that elevates Ä¢¹½TV’s visibility, showcases our community impact and clearly communicates our brand and institutional priorities.

To support this effort, Ä¢¹½TV has partnered with Beacon Technologies for the website redesign and selected Cascade, a product of Hannon Hill, as our new CMS.

The project officially kicked off in early February and will move through several phases. While University Marketing & Communications is coordinating the effort, this is a campus-wide initiative involving a broad group of partners from across the university.

We are currently in the discovery phase – where your voice is especially important.

I will continue to keep the Ä¢¹½TV community informed as the project progresses.

Good morning,

In December 2022, Ä¢¹½TV adopted new branding guidelines to help strengthen our brand by creating a unified voice. The university has made great progress since then, but we have also noticed that not everyone is consistently following the standards.

This brand shift was a big change for Ä¢¹½TV, so we have been patient, but now it’s time to fully align and present ourselves as one university across all our materials, including emails, presentations, websites and graphics. Your efforts help reinforce the strength and consistency of Ä¢¹½TV’s reputation both on campus and well beyond.

Now that the grace period is over, please check the following:

1. Is your email signature compliant?
   In accordance with Ä¢¹½TV Policy 3.021, please download and view instructions on updating your email signature.
2. Are your PowerPoint presentations using the right template?
   Here’s the latest PowerPoint template.
3. Are you using the correct letterhead?
   This electronic letterhead should now be used in place of printed versions.
4. Are all website editors properly trained?
   UMC offers online training — .

Our goal is 100% brand compliance across the university. When we speak with one voice, we show up stronger — for our students, our community and each other.
