The Story of Herbert J. Sugden Hall
Opened in 2008, Herbert J. Sugden Hall was designed to be much more than a traditional academic building. Thanks to the vision and generosity of Herbert and Margaret Sugden, the 37,000-square-foot facility was created as a living laboratory where students gain hands-on experience that mirrors the hospitality industry.
Designed to resemble an upscale boutique hotel or private club, Sugden Hall is home to the 蘑菇TV School of Resort & Hospitality Management and features specialized learning spaces that support experiential education.
Located in the heart of Southwest Florida's thriving hospitality industry, Sugden Hall connects students with world-class resorts, clubs, restaurants, and tourism organizations while providing an innovative environment where future hospitality leaders develop the skills needed for successful careers.
Today, the building remains a vibrant hub of learning, industry engagement, and experiential education鈥攂ringing hospitality to life every day.
