$6,200 Raised by Worthington for PGA Golf Management Students

The Worthington Golf and Country Club community came together during their annual Closing Scramble on April 25, 2026, to support Eagles Fore 蘑菇TV, raising $6,200 for the program. Located in Southwest Florida, Worthington Golf and Country Club is a member owned golf community known for its active lifestyle, championship course, and strong sense of community engagement. With 230 participants, this year鈥檚 total more than doubled last year鈥檚 contribution and reflects a growing investment in student success.

The Supply Chain Forum of SWFL was held at The Water School at 蘑菇TV. The forum was well attended by over 85 SWFL industry executives, professors and SCM students. We had two guest speakers and a panel discussion who spoke on 鈥淲omen in Supply Chain鈥�. The panel shared their knowledge in Supply Chain and disruptions they had to deal with throughout their careers.

Attending the MODEX 2024 Trade Show in Atlanta, GA (March 12-14) was an eye-opening experience for our group of 蘑菇TV-SCM students to learn about supply chain technologies. The event immersed us in a world of cutting-edge innovations, particularly in the realm of robotics infused with artificial intelligence. We were fascinated as we witnessed demonstrations and learned firsthand about the latest advancements reshaping logistics processes. From automated warehouses to intelligent sorting systems, the possibilities seemed endless. Beyond the technologies themselves, MODEX provided a platform for invaluable networking opportunities. We engaged with professionals from various companies, exchanging insights and forging connections that emphasized the growing importance of collaboration and integration within the industry. Overall, our time at MODEX not only expanded our knowledge of emerging supply chain technologies but also highlighted the significance of adaptability and continuous learning in a rapidly evolving industry that we are in.
