Blog Thumbnails
June 27, 2021
This guide will help trouble shoot any questions regarding thumbnails.
Thumbnail Sizing
Size: 296px x 180px
File size: 40~60Kb is ideal.
Wrong size? That's okay, if the image is too large or too small, the image will be resized to fit. The downside is that there will be improper cropping and pixelation. To get a 1:1 relation with what you see in your photo editing software, it's best to aim for the specific size.
Wrong file size? That's okay, if the thumbnail is 150kb, 20kb, etc. However, if you have all your post at 300kb, your blog will be very slow. 20kb and your blog will be fast, but the image quality might be too low. Above 300kb, the CMS will reject the image, this is likely due to your image being WAY too big.
